Wielkanoc w Polskiej Szkole
We would like to share with you the joy that accompanied us during Saturday classes at our school! Last week, the children explored the topic of Easter – from the meaning of the holiday, through the traditions of Good Friday, to the fun during Śmingus Dyngus. Our teachers talked about what should be included in the traditional Polish Easter basket – Święconka. The symbolic meaning of each product was considered, the differences between different methods of decorating pisanki. Our students decorated eggs themselves using old Polish methods, but also in other ways, so that they could then take them to their homes. We would like to thank our school PTO for their help in the preparations. We wish all our students and their families a healthy, peaceful and joyful Easter, and special moments with their loved ones!

Wiosenne Spotkanie
We would like to share with you great memories from last Saturday, when students of the Polish School in Charlotte and their families met for the traditional drowning of Marzanna – a symbolic farewell to winter! It was a day full of smiles, joy and unforgettable fun.
Beautiful weather allowed us to spend time outdoors, where the children had time to play together and rest after Saturday classes at school. It was a great day for our families to get together and cultivate our Polish traditions beyond the borders of our Homeland.

Karnawał 2024
Please enjoy photos from our carnival party that took place last Saturday. Our students had fun to the rhythm of cheerful dances and games led by our teachers and a DJ. They enjoyed donuts and other delicious treats. There was also face painting, games, relays, and a carnival photo booth!
11 listopada – Narodowe Święto Niepodległości
Today at our Polish School we celebrated a special anniversary – November 11, the day when Poland regained its independence!
Our young patriots not only solemnly sang the national anthem, but also paid tribute to this important event through various activities. The children created beautiful works of art, full of white and red colors, which perfectly reflect the spirit of this momentous day.
During today’s classes, we also talked about what it means to be an independent nation and the hardships our ancestors experienced while fighting for freedom. The children asked questions with curiosity, wondering why November 11 is such an important day for Poland.
It’s amazing to see how the young generation is involved in national heritage and how important patriotic values are to them. We are glad that we can celebrate this important anniversary together, teaching our children respect for history and pride in being Poles!
We invite you to view photos from this event.
